Ms Abeer Tauqeer (Social Sciences)

As an educator, I have the privilege of teaching three diverse subjects: History, Geography, and PSHE (Personal, Social, Health, and Economic Education). Each subject offers unique insights and opportunities for student growth.

In History, we delve into the rich tapestry of human experience, exploring the triumphs, challenges, and complexities of the past. Through interactive lessons and immersive storytelling, students journey through different epochs, civilizations, and historical events. By understanding the mistakes and achievements of those who came before us, students gain a deeper appreciation for the present and develop critical thinking skills essential for navigating the complexities of our world.

Geography opens the door to understanding the interconnectedness of our planet. From studying landscapes and ecosystems to examining human-environment interactions, students gain a global perspective that transcends borders. Through hands-on activities, map analysis, and virtual field trips, students develop spatial awareness, cultural appreciation, and environmental stewardship. Geography empowers students to become informed global citizens who recognize their role in shaping a sustainable future.

In PSHE, we embark on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. Through open discussions, role-playing exercises, and real-life scenarios, students explore topics such as mental health, relationships, and financial literacy. PSHE equips students with essential life skills, fostering resilience, empathy, and responsible decision-making. By prioritizing emotional well-being and holistic development, PSHE empowers students to lead fulfilling lives and contribute positively to their communities.

By teaching History, Geography, and PSHE, I aim to provide students with a well-rounded education that not only prepares them for academic success but also equips them with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in an ever-changing world. Together, we embark on a journey of exploration, understanding, and personal growth, shaping the leaders and global citizens of tomorrow.

Ms Anila Farhan (Computer)

In my role as a computer teacher, I am consistently seeking inventive approaches to stimulate student engagement and foster an enjoyable learning experience. One such approach involves integrating programming and coding into my instructional sessions. I utilize programming languages, such as Python and Scratch, to teach students how to design basic programs that can be applied to problem-solving and task completion. This technique not only enhances the development of their logical and analytical thinking capabilities, but it also instills a sense of achievement, empowering students to manage their own learning experiences. By incorporating coding into my online classroom, I aim to equip my students with the necessary tools to thrive in the digital era.

Ms Hira Zeeshan (Math)

I have a huge passion for teaching Mathematics. It is a subject I feel entirely confident in, and this is reflected in my ability to teach in a simple, yet highly effective manner to cater for students of all standards and abilities. Over the years, I have built up extensive experience that has given me a variety of different teaching styles.

I use various interactive tools and real-life tools to make the subject more accessible and engaging. I love teaching students how to observe mathematical processes in everyday applications where they can see formulas and equations in real life. Being able to inspire students to look at Mathematics in new and applicable ways is motivating for me, as I believe teachers also learn from their students.

I integrate my lessons with latest technical tools like, videos, images and topic related stories.
In this online space, I aim to make learning about Islam accessible, engaging, and meaningful for all my learners. Through interactive sessions and engaging materials, we dive into the teachings of Islam in a way that’s easy to understand and apply to life. We provide the opportunity to explore various aspects of the faith, from Quranic studies to Islamic ethics and the everyday code of life.
